Painting named "Summer Picnic"
“Summer, after all, is a time when wonderful things can happen to quiet people. For those few months, you’re not required to be who everyone thinks you are, and that cut-grass smell in the air and the chance to dive into the deep end of a pool give you a courage you don’t have the rest of the year. You can be grateful and easy, with no eyes on you, and no past. Summer just opens the door and lets you out.” – Deb Caletti

Edition 2020
23/11/2020 - 30/11/2020
Espoo (Finland)
2020 was full of surprises for all of us, so will this exhibition be full of surprises. It contains three different themes and in each of them I tried to point viewer’s attention to beauty inside and around all of us.
I started to paint when I was a kid. In 2015 my hobby got a new turn – I received my first commission projects. 2020 was a transformative year for me as an artist. The change of perspective gave me strength and courage to see myself as a professional artist, speak out and raise topics that matter to me. I hope, they will matter to you as well. This exhibition will present only those artworks that I created during 2020.
First theme is nature. Yes, we cannot travel, but our imagination has no limits. My collection of abstract landscape paintings will invite you on a journey into a colorful world of imagination.
Second theme is hands. As an artist, who is deeply attracted to human body, I love to paint hands, because they can tell the story of their owner even better than the owner themself.
Third theme is women. This is a very close topic to me, and here you can find some of my works that explore it. The main idea behind all of them is that there always will be external forces such as culture, trends, traditions and others that will impact us (women) in many ways, but we should not forget how beautiful and unique we are in our diversity.

Lightbulb…
The entire world within borders of the well familiar shape. Idea, meaning and state of mind, that everyone can discover for themselves. The goal of the project is to support ideas of sustainability, such as preserving the environment, taking care of ecology and supporting principles of fair trade. Sustainability is a lifestyle, that consists from small daily choices – to mix or sort waste, to buy several cheap t-shirts or single fair-trade t-shirt, to fill your diet with conventional or organic food. The lightbulb shape was chosen as a result of a long selection and carries both direct and indirect meaning. Lightbulb – is a message, that encompasses a profound idea of merging own ego with understanding of responsibility for your own choices. During the work process, I tried to combine mood, colour, technique and tools into a single whole. These incredible effects were achieved by the use of hot wax, water colours, salt, vodka, textile, as well as other materials and tools.
